Granitewell Financial LLC Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Granitewell Financial LLC (“Granitewell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for your use of Granitewell.
By creating an account and accepting these Terms, you agree to them.
1. Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to create a Granitewell account.
You agree to provide truthful registration information and keep the email address connected to your account current so we can send you important account, billing, privacy, and security notices.
You are responsible for keeping your Granitewell login information secure and for telling us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
You may connect only financial accounts that you own or are otherwise authorized to access.
If you add information about another member of your household, you are responsible for having the right to provide and use that information.
2. What Granitewell Is
Granitewell is a household financial operating system.
Granitewell brings together financial information you choose to connect with the household information, priorities, commitments, rules, and goals you choose to enter.
Granitewell shows you your current financial picture, including what has changed and what the possible results could be from different choices. You remain in control of your finances and make all financial decisions.
3. What Granitewell Is Not
Granitewell is software.
Granitewell is not a financial adviser, investment adviser, bank, lender, broker, tax adviser, accountant, credit-repair service, or fiduciary.
Information, calculations, forecasts, scenarios, alerts, and other information shown through Granitewell are for informational and planning purposes.
They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, lending, or credit advice.
Granitewell does not tell you what financial choice to make and does not take financial action for you.
4. Financial Information
Granitewell relies in part on information received from financial institutions and other data providers.
That information may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, unavailable, or inaccurate. Pending transactions may also change before they are final.
Forecasts and scenarios are based on the information available and the assumptions being used. They show possible results, not guaranteed outcomes.
When a particular balance, transaction, payment date, or other financial fact is important to a choice you are about to make, you should confirm it with the original source.
5. Connecting Financial Accounts
Granitewell uses Plaid to help you connect eligible financial accounts.
You choose which accounts to connect and approve the access presented to you during the connection process.
Plaid may ask you to authenticate directly with your financial institution. Bank login credentials handled through Plaid Link are not provided to Granitewell.
Connecting an account to Granitewell does not authorize Granitewell to move your money.
Granitewell does not use connected accounts to transfer funds, withdraw money, make payments, send money, buy or sell investments, or otherwise control funds in those accounts.
Payments you authorize for your Granitewell subscription are handled separately through our payment provider.
6. Information You Add to Granitewell
As between you and Granitewell, you keep ownership of the information you enter into Granitewell.
You give Granitewell permission to use that information, together with financial information you choose to connect, as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support Granitewell.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, retain, and share personal information.
Subscription
Granitewell's standard subscription price at launch is:
Monthly: $19.99 USD per month, plus applicable taxes.
Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel.
Before you subscribe, we will clearly show you:
- the price;
- how often you will be charged;
- whether any free or promotional period applies;
- when paid billing begins;
- that the subscription renews automatically; and
- how to cancel.
We will not add undisclosed mandatory Granitewell fees to the price shown at checkout.
8. Automatic Renewal
Your authorized payment method will be charged $19.99 USD plus applicable taxes when your paid subscription starts and monthly after that until you cancel.
We will get your express approval before starting recurring billing.
After you subscribe, we will send you a confirmation you can keep showing your plan, price, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions.
We will send additional renewal, promotional-period, and price-change notices when required by law.
9. Canceling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
If you subscribed online, you will be able to cancel online through Granitewell or our authorized billing provider.
We will not require you to call a salesperson or explain why you are canceling.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges.
Unless the law or a specific promotion says otherwise, you may continue using Granitewell through the end of a period you already paid for.
Disconnecting a financial account does not cancel your Granitewell subscription.
10. Refunds
Unless required by law or stated in a specific promotion, subscription payments are non-refundable and are not prorated for part of a billing period.
If we make a billing error, we will correct it.
If Granitewell ends a prepaid subscription without cause before the end of the paid period, we will refund the unused prepaid portion.
Nothing in this section takes away a refund or cancellation right that the law does not allow you to waive.
11. Payment Processing
Granitewell uses Stripe to process subscription payments.
When payment information is entered directly through Stripe, Granitewell does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
You authorize Granitewell and Stripe to process the subscription charges you approve during checkout.
12. Founding 50
If you join Granitewell through the Founding 50 offer, the Founding 50 Program Terms also apply to you.
If those terms conflict with these Terms about the Founding 50 promotion, the Founding 50 Program Terms control for that issue.
13. Acceptable Use
You may not use Granitewell to:
- break the law;
- access financial information you do not have permission to access;
- impersonate another person;
- commit or assist fraud, identity theft, or other unlawful activity;
- gain unauthorized access to another customer's account;
- interfere with Granitewell's security or systems;
- introduce malicious software; or
- misuse Granitewell's systems or data.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that threatens Granitewell, another customer, or our systems.
14. Granitewell's Intellectual Property
Granitewell owns its software, design, branding, workflows, written materials, technology, and other Granitewell-created intellectual property.
While your account is active, we give you a limited right to use Granitewell for your personal and household purposes.
We are not transferring ownership of Granitewell's intellectual property to you.
15. Feedback
We welcome feedback.
If you voluntarily give us product ideas, suggestions, or general feedback, Granitewell may use them to improve Granitewell without owing you compensation.
That does not give Granitewell permission to publish your identity, private financial information, or a testimonial unless you separately give us that permission.
16. Third-Party Services
Granitewell depends on other companies to provide parts of the Service, including financial-data connections, hosting, application infrastructure, security, communications, and payment processing.
Those services may sometimes experience outages, delays, maintenance, or changes outside Granitewell's control.
We will take reasonable steps to operate and maintain Granitewell, but we cannot promise that every third-party connection or feature will always be available.
17. Changes to Granitewell or These Terms
We may update Granitewell over time.
We may also change these Terms when needed because of changes to Granitewell, the law, security requirements, or our business.
If a change materially affects your rights or subscription, we will give you notice when required.
If Granitewell permanently ends a prepaid Service before the end of the period you paid for, we will refund the unused prepaid portion.
18. Warranty Disclaimer
We work to make Granitewell reliable and useful, but no software or financial-data connection is perfect.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Granitewell is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that Granitewell will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information received from another company will always be current, complete, or accurate.
We disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows us to do so.
Any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be waived remains in place.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Granitewell is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from your use of Granitewell.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Granitewell's total liability for a claim related to Granitewell or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid Granitewell during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- $100 USD.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow a particular type of liability or remedy to be limited.
Nothing in these Terms takes away a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
20. Disputes
If you have a dispute with Granitewell, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
Email:
support@granitewellfinancial.com
Use the subject line:
Legal Dispute Notice
Please explain what happened and what you would like us to do.
If we cannot resolve the dispute, either you or Granitewell may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court or another court that has jurisdiction.
21. Governing Law
Except where federal law controls or another law gives you rights that cannot be waived, these Terms are governed by Massachusetts law.
A legal action may be brought in an appropriate Massachusetts state or federal court unless applicable law gives you the right to proceed somewhere else.
22. General Terms
If one part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest will continue to apply unless the law requires otherwise.
If Granitewell does not enforce a provision immediately, that does not mean we have waived it.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures, Electronic Communications Consent, and any promotion terms you accept make up your agreement with Granitewell.
